Sometimes the idea of therapy can seem daunting, however I always aim to provide a relaxed, safe and confidential space free from technical jargon where we can explore the issues and concerns you may have.
Although you may be experiencing specific problems such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties or stress among others (or you might be seeking bereavement counselling) you may not necessarily be able to pinpoint exactly what is wrong. You might simply feel that your life is not living up to the hype.
I tailor sessions to the individual because I do not believe that a one-size-fits-all approach is very helpful, which is consistent with my view of all human beings as unique.
I therefore draw on a range of therapeutic models to help create an individual experience including: Existential therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic approaches and Person-Centred therapy.
Whatever you bring, we can explore it together to help you better embrace the present in light of past events, while moving forwards.
