I originally trained as a musician but caught the broadcasting bug at a young age. I have extensive experience on national and regional radio, producing and presenting programmes specialising in arts and entertainment. I have interviewed writers, directors, actors and musicians among many others. As well as hosting my own daily show for many years with a commitment to broadcasting live music, I also presented numerous outside broadcasts including live from the Oscars in Los Angeles for BBC Five Live.
I funded my switch from full-time broadcasting to psychology through writing for TV and flexing my vocal chords as a voice-over artist for anything from Michael Jackson Albums, breakfast cereal and hair products to TV Shows such as Friends and Sex and the City!
I was also an editor for Q Magazine, syndicated reporter for the Gramophone Awards and voice over for many TV programmes such as The Album Show for ITV and the Movie Chart Show for Channel 5.
